ABOUT ABOUT

Join us at Raffurty's Bar & Grill on Main Street in Sarasota, Florida on April 8th from 12:30 until 3:30 pm EST (11:30-12:30 for VIP ticket holders only) and raise some HAIL with your fellow Wolverines.

We are pleased to announce our first meet and greet event with both current and former Michigan Wolverine gridiron greats.

Headlining the event will be JJ McCarthy, our current Wolverine QB1 and Heisman Hopeful.  This is the first event of this kind that JJ has done outside of Michigan, so we are super lucky to host him here in Florida.

Your ticket allows you the opportunity to meet JJ, shake hands, and have a picture taken with him.  It also allows you to have one item of your choice autographed (no more than a 3-word maximum inscription)

Also confirmed to be attending is Mark Messner - 4x First Team All-Big Ten (1985-1988), holds Michigan records for QB sacks in a game (5), career tackles for a loss (70), and career sacks (36).  Mark is a member of the UM Hall of Fame and was inducted into the NCAA Hall of Fame last year.  He will happily sign autographs at this event (max of 3 items please).

Other former players who have confirmed to be in attendance:   Andy Mignery (1999-2003) who played both TE and Punter, also being honored as Michigan's top football student-athlete --- and David Baas who was recognized as a consensus All-American and the top college center while at UM. He was drafted in the second round of the 2005 NFL Draft, and he was a member of the New York Giants' Super Bowl XLVI championship team.

Now confirmed -- Garrett Rivas, Kicker at UM where he held the former school records for career scoring, field goals and point after touchdowns and was a three-time All-Big Ten Conference selection during his time there.

Also confirmed is Karan Higdon who was born in Sarasota and played at Riverview HS.  Karan was a Four-year letterman (2015-18), was named the team's 2017 Offensive Player of the Year, was a Semifinalist for both the Doak Walker Award and Maxwell Awards in 2018 and during his career carried the ball 511 times and rushed for 2,622 yards, scoring 27 touchdowns.

Just confirmed, Gerald White will also be making the drive across the State to join us.  Gerald played Fullback under head coach Bo Schembechler from 1983 to 1986, sharing the backfield with Jim Harbaugh and Jamie Morris.

This is a great opportunity to meet these Michigan greats up close and personal and hear gameday stories too.

Take advantage of the early bird discount and purchase your tickets now.  We will be capping the number of attendees so make sure you get your tickets before we close out the list.  If we do not sell out early, we will offer entrance on the day of the event for $125 (please bring cash).
